About Kaleigh R. Mangiarelli

A LETTER TO THE READER

Welcome to my online teaching portfolio!  The contents of this website are a culmination of four years of graduate study in Special Education, Moderate Disabilities at Simmons College, as well as five years of teaching experience at Landmark School, a high school for students with language-based learning disabilities in Prides Crossing, MA.

You can view the contents of my portfolio by clicking the tabs on the top of the screen, which will lead you to my resume and philosophy of education, as well as evidence of the Six Essential Elements of Teaching, a crucial component of the Candidate Assessment of Performance program through a year-long practicum in Special Education.

The materials listed as evidence of the Six Essential Elements meet the requirements of the Practicum and Seminar course for the Masters in Special Education at Simmons College, and they also reflect my dedication and devotion to my work and studies of teaching Special Education in an inclusive classroom.  Through viewing my portfolio, you will see that I am thoughtful in my lesson planning, committed in my teaching, and reflective of my practice. I strive to be the best teacher I can be each and every day for my students, and to challenge them to be the best students they can be both in and out of my classroom.

Sincerely,

Kaleigh Mangiarelli
